Technical sections, lava fields, malpaís and unsurfaced dirt tracks. The electric mountain bike lets you enjoy the descents and handle the elevation without the climb stealing the show.

No. Most people who come have never ridden one. Before we set off I explain how it works and we do a short practice run. Groups are capped at six, so we ride at the group's pace and nobody gets left behind. It works even for people who haven't cycled in years.

Six at most, always. It is a deliberate choice: with more people you cannot adapt the pace or stop where it is worth stopping.
