Email: info@ebiketourlanzarote.com
Telephone: +34 686 700 302
Given the nature, scope, and volume of the data processing carried out by Ebike Experiences Lanzarote, the appointment of a Data Protection Officer is not mandatory under article 37 of the GDPR. Any questions relating to data protection may be directed to the contact details above.
2. What personal data we collect
We collect only the data that is necessary depending on the channel through which the User interacts with us:
Website contact form or chat: name, email address, telephone number (optional), and the content of the message sent.
Tour booking process, whether through the FareHarbor widget or through the direct payment system integrated with Stripe: first and last name of each participant, email address, telephone number, number of people, and, where applicable, the age of participants who are minors. Payment card details are entered directly by the User in the secure environments of FareHarbor or Stripe; Ebike Experiences Lanzarote does not access or store, at any time, the full card number or the security code (CVV).
Data generated during the provision of the service: issues reported by the customer, correspondence relating to changes to or cancellations of the booking, and photographs or videos taken during the activity under the terms described in the Booking Conditions.
Browsing data: through the technical cookies described in our Cookie Policy, minimal operational data is collected (selected language, booking process status). As of the date of this update, the Website does not use its own analytics or advertising cookies.
We do not collect special categories of data (health, ethnic origin, religious beliefs, etc.) unless the User voluntarily chooses to disclose such information when informing us of a medical condition relevant to safety during the activity, in which case such data is processed exclusively for the purpose of ensuring their safety and that of the rest of the group during the tour, and is not retained beyond what is strictly necessary for that purpose.
3. Data relating to minors
Our tours may include the participation of minors between 12 and 17 years of age, always accompanied by a responsible adult, under the terms set out in our Booking Conditions. In these cases, the minor's personal data (name and age) is provided by the adult who makes the booking and who acts as the person responsible for the minor, and who warrants that they have the necessary authorization to do so. This data is processed exclusively for the purpose of safely managing the minor's participation in the contracted activity, and is not used for any other purpose, nor disclosed to third parties except as indicated in section 6 of this Policy.
Ebike Experiences Lanzarote does not target the Website at minors, nor does it collect data from minors acting on their own behalf through the contact form or the booking process, in accordance with article 7 of the LOPD-GDD.
The promotional use of a minor's image is a separate and independent purpose from the management of their participation in the tour, and requires the express, prior consent of the father, mother, or legal guardian, obtained by WhatsApp or email before the activity, under the terms described in section 15 of the Booking Conditions.
4. Purpose and legal basis of the processing
We process Users' personal data for the following purposes, each with its corresponding legal basis under article 6 of the GDPR:
Managing the booking, payment for the service, and provision of the contracted guided tour. Legal basis: performance of a contract to which the data subject is party (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Handling pre-booking enquiries made through the Website's contact form or chat. Legal basis: implementation of pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Communicating with the User before, during, and after the tour (confirmations, reminders, incidents, weather information relevant to the activity). Legal basis: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and legitimate interest in ensuring the proper provision of the service (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Complying with legal obligations applicable to our activity, including tax and accounting obligations and those arising from our status as an active tourism company registered under Decreto 226/2017. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
Managing and resolving complaints, claims, and incidents relating to the service provided. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR) and, where applicable, compliance with a legal obligation.
Using photographs or videos of the User, taken during the activity, for our own promotional purposes (Website, social media, printed material), in accordance with the authorization set out in section 15 of the Booking Conditions. Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest in promoting its activity (art. 6.1.f GDPR), at all times subject to the User's right to object, which may be exercised by informing the guide on the day of the activity or by writing to info@ebiketourlanzarote.com.
Using photographs or videos of a participating minor for our own promotional purposes, only when the father, mother, or legal guardian has given express, prior consent by WhatsApp or email, in accordance with section 15 of the Booking Conditions. Legal basis: consent of the legal representative (art. 6.1.a GDPR), revocable at any time with effect on future uses of the material.
No automated decisions are made, nor are profiles created that produce legal effects on Users.
5. Data retention period
Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and, subsequently, for the limitation periods applicable to any legal actions that may arise from the processing, as well as for the periods required by applicable tax and accounting regulations, which generally establish a minimum of 5 years for supporting documentation of economic transactions (article 30 of the Código de Comercio). Data relating to enquiries that do not result in a booking will be retained for a maximum of 12 months from the last contact, unless the User requests its deletion earlier.
6. Recipients of the data
Ebike Experiences Lanzarote does not sell or transfer Users' personal data to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. Data is disclosed, to the extent strictly necessary, to the following data processors, each subject to its own privacy policy and to a data processing agreement where required by the GDPR:
FareHarbor Inc., a booking management platform for tourist activities used to process and confirm tour bookings.
Stripe, the payment gateway provider used to securely process payments made through the Website's direct booking system.
Repuso, a tool used to display customer reviews voluntarily left by customers on the Website.
The web hosting provider that stores the technical data necessary for the Website's operation.
Public authorities, where there is a legal obligation to disclose information (for example, for tax purposes or in the context of an inspection of the active tourism activity).
Collaborating providers strictly necessary for the provision of the contracted service (for example, transfer or accommodation services), and only when the User has requested such coordination, in which case only the data essential for that purpose is disclosed.
7. International data transfers
Some of the providers mentioned in the previous section, in particular Stripe, may process personal data on servers located outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, Ebike Experiences Lanzarote ensures that the international transfer is covered by an appropriate safeguard recognized by the GDPR, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or an adequacy decision, and the User may request further information in this regard through the contact details indicated in section 1.
8. Rights of data subjects
The User may exercise, at any time and free of charge, the following rights recognized by the GDPR and the LOPD-GDD:

Right to restriction of processing, in the cases provided for in article 18 of the GDPR.
Right to object, in particular to processing based on legitimate interest.
Right to data portability, when the processing is based on consent or on a contract and is carried out by automated means.
Right to withdraw consent given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to its withdrawal.
These rights may be exercised by writing to info@ebiketourlanzarote.com, attaching a copy of a valid identity document or other means to verify the identity of the requester, and clearly indicating the right the requester wishes to exercise. Ebike Experiences Lanzarote will respond to the request within a maximum period of one month, extendable by a further two months in cases of particular complexity, in which case the User will be informed of the reason for the extension.
If the User considers that the processing of their personal data does not comply with applicable regulations, they have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD), through its electronic office at www.aepd.es, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy available to them.
9. Security measures
Ebike Experiences Lanzarote applies technical and organizational measures that are reasonable and proportionate to the nature of the data processed, in order to guarantee its confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and to prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized processing, or access, taking into account the state of the art, the nature of the data stored, and the risks to which it is exposed. It likewise requires the data processors it works with to comply with equivalent security guarantees.
10. Links to social media
The Website includes links to Ebike Experiences Lanzarote's profiles on social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. The processing of personal data provided by the User when interacting with such profiles is governed by the privacy policies of each social network, which are independent of Ebike Experiences Lanzarote and which the User must review separately.

BOOKING CONDITIONS
Last updated: August 4, 2026
1. Purpose and acceptance
These Booking Conditions govern the contract for the provision of tourism services entered into between Ignacio Andrés Herrero Ortiz, operating under the trade name Ebike Experiences Lanzarote (hereinafter, "Ebike Experiences Lanzarote" or "the Organizer"), and the person who completes a booking through the Website ebiketourlanzarote.com or through any of the booking channels integrated into it (hereinafter, "the Customer"), for participation in a guided electric bicycle tour organized by Ebike Experiences Lanzarote on the island of Lanzarote.
By completing and submitting the booking form, and in any case by proceeding with the corresponding payment, the Customer declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Booking Conditions, which constitute the binding agreement between the parties. These conditions are equally binding on the other participants included in the booking; by booking, the Customer declares that they have informed all of them of its content and have their agreement, acting on their behalf for these purposes.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing between the parties, these Booking Conditions prevail over any other prior agreement, communication, or practice between the Customer and the Organizer. No amendment to these conditions shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by a person authorized by Ebike Experiences Lanzarote.
Registration: Active Tourism Registry of the Government of the Canary Islands (Registro de Turismo Activo del Gobierno de Canarias), no. GC001932, in accordance with Decreto 226/2017, de 13 de noviembre, por el que se aprueba el Reglamento por el que se establece el régimen jurídico para el desarrollo de las actividades de turismo activo en Canarias
Email: info@ebiketourlanzarote.com
Telephone: +34 686 700 302
The activity is provided entirely within Spanish territory and is governed, for all purposes, by Spanish law, regardless of the Customer's country of residence.
3. Price, taxes, and method of payment
The price of each tour is as published on the Website at the time the booking is made, and includes the applicable Canary Islands General Indirect Tax (Impuesto General Indirecto Canario, IGIC). The published price includes the use of the electric bicycle, the helmet, and the other safety equipment specified in the description of each tour, as well as the accompaniment of a guide throughout the activity; any additional service not included in that description will be expressly indicated before the booking is confirmed.
Payment is made in euros, through the FareHarbor booking platform or through the direct payment system integrated with Stripe, depending on the option chosen by the Customer. The booking is not considered confirmed, and the place is not guaranteed, until the corresponding payment has been completed and Ebike Experiences Lanzarote has sent the booking confirmation. The availability shown on the Website prior to completion of payment is for informational purposes only and may vary.
4. Booking and confirmation process
The booking is made by completing the corresponding form with the details of all participants and completing payment of the total price of the activity. Once payment has been confirmed, the Customer will receive a booking confirmation by email with details of the tour, date, time, and meeting point. It is the Customer's responsibility to check that the booking details are correct and to notify Ebike Experiences Lanzarote of any error as soon as possible.
5. Participants, minimum age, and minors
The person making and paying for the booking must be over 18 years of age. Minors between 12 and 17 years of age may participate in the activity provided that they are accompanied, for the entire duration, by a responsible adult included in the same booking, and provided that their age has been expressly indicated on the booking form. Ebike Experiences Lanzarote reserves the right to request, before the activity begins, express authorization from the minor's father, mother, or legal guardian when the minor is not accompanied by them, and to refuse a minor's participation when, in the reasoned judgment of the guide, the activity may pose a risk to the minor's safety or that of the rest of the group. Participation by children under 12 years of age is not permitted, except with the express, written authorization of Ebike Experiences Lanzarote following an assessment of the circumstances of the case.
6. Health, physical fitness requirements, and assumption of risk
The tours organized by Ebike Experiences Lanzarote are physically active outdoor activities that take place on volcanic terrain, with variable elevation changes depending on the chosen itinerary; their physical demands depend on the specific tour, the difficulty of which is described on the Website. By its very nature, the activity involves risks inherent to cycling in a natural environment (falls, changing weather conditions, uneven terrain, among others) that cannot be completely eliminated despite the safety measures adopted by the Organizer.
By completing the booking, the Customer declares and warrants, on their own behalf and on behalf of all participants included in the booking, that:
They are in a state of health and physical fitness appropriate to participate in the contracted tour.
They do not suffer from any medical, physical, or other condition that could pose a significant risk to their own safety, that of other participants, or that of third parties during the activity.
They have informed Ebike Experiences Lanzarote, prior to the activity, of any relevant medical circumstance (for example, allergies, cardiovascular problems, or mobility issues) that the guide needs to know about in order to ensure their safety.
They will follow at all times the safety instructions given by the guide, including the mandatory use of the helmet provided.
Ebike Experiences Lanzarote reserves the right to exclude from the activity, without entitlement to a refund, any participant who, in the reasoned judgment of the guide, does not meet the necessary physical requirements, or whose participation may pose a risk to the safety of the group, provided that such circumstance had not previously been disclosed by the Customer.
7. Insurance and civil liability
In accordance with the requirements of Decreto 226/2017, Ebike Experiences Lanzarote holds a civil liability insurance policy and an assistance and accident insurance policy covering the organized activity, on the terms and within the limits established in such policies. The Customer may request information about the coverage of these policies through the contact details indicated in section 2. The existence of these policies does not exempt the Customer from complying with the obligations described in section 6, nor does it cover damage arising from failure to comply with the guide's safety instructions or from negligent or willful conduct by the Customer.
8. Equipment and materials
The price of the tour includes the electric bicycle, the helmet, and the other safety equipment specified in the description of the activity, approved in accordance with applicable regulations. The Customer is responsible for making appropriate and diligent use of the equipment provided, and shall be liable for the cost of repair or replacement of any damage or loss caused by themselves, by another member of their group, or by a third party under their control, during the period of use of the equipment, unless such damage results from normal wear and tear of the equipment or from a defect in it not attributable to the Customer.
9. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article 103.l) of the Texto Refundido de la Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios y otras leyes complementarias (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007, de 16 de noviembre), the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the provision of services related to leisure activities when the contract specifies a particular date or period of performance, as is the case with the guided tours that are the subject of these Booking Conditions. This is without prejudice to the Customer's right to cancel their booking in accordance with the cancellation policy described in section 11 of these Conditions.
10. Changes to the booking requested by the Customer
If the Customer wishes to change the date, time, or number of participants of an already confirmed booking, they must notify us by email at info@ebiketourlanzarote.com as far in advance as possible. Ebike Experiences Lanzarote will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request, although the availability of alternative dates and places cannot be guaranteed. A change of date accepted by Ebike Experiences Lanzarote is not considered a cancellation and does not give rise to the charges described in section 11, without prejudice to the payment of any price difference if the new date corresponds to a higher-cost tour.
11. Cancellation policy by the Customer
Cancellations must be notified by email at info@ebiketourlanzarote.com, and take effect from the moment Ebike Experiences Lanzarote receives such notification. Depending on how far in advance the cancellation is notified relative to the scheduled start time of the tour, the following scale will apply:
Cancellation 7 or more days in advance: refund of 100% of the amount paid, less any banking or payment gateway management fees incurred by Ebike Experiences Lanzarote, where applicable.
Cancellation between 7 days and 48 hours in advance: refund of 50% of the amount paid.
Cancellation less than 48 hours in advance, or failure to show up on the day of the activity ("no-show"): no refund will be given.
When the booking includes several participants and only one of them cancels their participation, the above scale will be applied proportionally to the amount corresponding to that participant.
12. Changes to or cancellation of the tour by the Organizer
Ebike Experiences Lanzarote plans its tours in advance, but may be forced to modify or cancel an already confirmed activity for reasons beyond its control, such as adverse weather conditions that compromise the safety of participants, or failure to reach a minimum number of participants when this has been indicated in the tour description. In such cases, Ebike Experiences Lanzarote will notify the Customer as far in advance as possible, offering them, at their choice:
To accept the proposed change to the date, time, or itinerary of the activity; or
To switch to an alternative available tour, paying the price difference if the new tour is more expensive, or receiving a refund of the difference if it is less expensive; or
To cancel the booking, with a full refund of the amount actually paid, without application of the scale set out in section 11.
13. Force majeure
Ebike Experiences Lanzarote assumes no liability or obligation to pay any financial compensation, beyond the refund provided for in section 12, when the performance of its obligations is prevented, hindered, or delayed by causes of force majeure beyond its reasonable control, understood to include, among others, extreme weather events, natural disasters, fires, civil conflicts, terrorist acts, strikes, pandemics or health-related restrictions, or any other unforeseeable or unavoidable circumstance that prevents the normal conduct of the activity.
14. Conduct of the activity and safety rules
During the tour, the Customer agrees to follow the guide's instructions at all times, to use the safety equipment provided, to respect the itinerary and pace set by the group, and not to engage in reckless maneuvers or actions contrary to the instructions received. For safety reasons, the guide may modify the planned itinerary, shorten the tour, or suspend the activity in progress, without this giving rise to any additional compensation when such a decision is motivated by the safety of the participants.
15. Images and promotional use
The Customer authorizes Ebike Experiences Lanzarote to use and reproduce, free of charge and for promotional purposes, photographs or videos taken by the guide team during the tour in which the Customer appears, individually or in a group, in any medium (Website, social media, printed advertising material), without time or geographical limitation. If the Customer prefers not to be included in such material, they may inform their guide on the day of the activity or, beforehand, by email at info@ebiketourlanzarote.com or by WhatsApp at +34 686 700 302.
When the booking includes minor participants, the promotional use of their image requires the express, prior consent of the accompanying father, mother, or legal guardian, given before the start of the activity by WhatsApp message to +34 686 700 302 or by email at info@ebiketourlanzarote.com, in which the responsible adult unambiguously confirms their authorization, indicating the minor's name. Ebike Experiences Lanzarote will retain this communication as evidence of the consent given. If this express confirmation is not received before the activity, the guide will endeavor to ensure that the minor does not appear in an identifiable manner in material intended for promotional purposes. This consent may be revoked at any time through the same channels, with effect on future uses of the material.
16. Protection of personal data
Personal data provided by the Customer during the booking process is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, drawn up in accordance with Reglamento (UE) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Ley Orgánica 3/2018 (LOPD-GDD), which the Customer can access from any page of the Website.
17. Complaints, claims, and official complaint forms
If the Customer experiences any problem relating to the contracted tour, they must notify Ebike Experiences Lanzarote in writing, through info@ebiketourlanzarote.com, within a maximum period of 48 hours from the end of the activity, describing what happened in as much detail as possible, so that Ebike Experiences Lanzarote can assess and, where applicable, resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
In compliance with Ley 7/1995, de 6 de abril, de Ordenación del Turismo de Canarias, and Decreto 77/2022, de 7 de abril, por el que se regulan las características y el procedimiento de obtención de las hojas de reclamaciones en el ámbito turístico de la Comunidad Autónoma de Canarias, Ebike Experiences Lanzarote has official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) available to Customers who request them, through which Customers may lodge any complaint or claim relating to the service provided.
18. Online dispute resolution
In accordance with Reglamento (UE) núm. 524/2013 del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo, Customers who qualify as consumers may, in the event of a dispute relating to a purchase made through the Website, access the European online dispute resolution (ODR) platform, available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, as well as, where applicable, the relevant Consumer Arbitration Board (Junta Arbitral de Consumo), without prejudice to their right to bring proceedings before the ordinary courts.
19. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Booking Conditions are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from their interpretation or performance, both parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Arrecife de Lanzarote, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them, unless consumer protection legislation mandatorily establishes otherwise, in which case the jurisdiction determined by such legislation shall apply.
20. Partial nullity
If any of the clauses included in these Booking Conditions is declared null or unenforceable, wholly or partially, by a final decision issued by a competent authority, such nullity shall affect only the corresponding provision, and the rest of the Booking Conditions shall remain in force in all other respects.
21. Amendment of these Conditions
Ebike Experiences Lanzarote reserves the right to amend these Booking Conditions in the future. The conditions applicable to each booking will be those in force and published on the Website at the time the booking is made.
ACCESSIBILITY
Last updated: August 4, 2026
1. Commitment to accessibility
Ignacio Andrés Herrero Ortiz, operating under the trade name Ebike Experiences Lanzarote, is committed to making the website ebiketourlanzarote.com accessible to as many people as possible, taking as a reference the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as well as the criteria set out in standard UNE-EN 301549. This statement is made voluntarily: Real Decreto 1112/2018, de 7 de septiembre, sobre accesibilidad de los sitios web y aplicaciones para dispositivos móviles del sector público, does not apply on a mandatory basis to Ebike Experiences Lanzarote, as it is a private company, although it is used as a reference for best practices.
2. Scope of this statement
This accessibility statement covers the public version of the website ebiketourlanzarote.com, and includes both the digital accessibility of the website itself and, separately in section 5, information regarding the physical accessibility of the tourist activity provided through it. Third-party embedded content referred to in section 4, over which Ebike Experiences Lanzarote has no direct control, falls outside the scope of this statement.
3. Accessibility measures applied to the website
Ebike Experiences Lanzarote has adopted, among others, the following measures aimed at improving the digital accessibility of the website:
Semantic structure of content in HTML5, with an ordered heading hierarchy that facilitates navigation using screen readers.
Inclusion of alternative text on relevant images in the content.
Ability to navigate and interact using the keyboard with the main elements of the site (menu, forms, booking buttons).
Attention to color contrast between text and backgrounds, including the dark backgrounds used in certain sections of the site.
Responsive design, allowing correct display on mobile devices, tablets, and desktop computers.
Availability of the website's content in several languages (Spanish, English, German, French, Italian, and Chinese), which makes it easier to understand for a wider range of users.
Ebike Experiences Lanzarote continuously reviews the website with the aim of detecting and correcting any accessibility barriers that may remain, without this implying a guarantee, at all times, of full compliance with all of the level AA criteria of WCAG 2.1.
4. Non-accessible content and known limitations
Some elements of the website may not fully meet the accessibility criteria of reference, in particular:
Third-party widgets and embedded content, such as the FareHarbor booking system, the Stripe payment system, or the Repuso reviews module, were not developed by Ebike Experiences Lanzarote and may not achieve the same level of accessibility as the rest of the website, as they are not under its direct control.
There may occasionally be headings whose logical order is not optimal, form elements with labels that could be improved, or minor editing errors on specific pages of the site, which will be corrected progressively as they are detected.
The contact form and certain steps of the booking process may not, in all cases, provide sufficiently clear guidance when fields are filled in incorrectly.
5. Accessibility of the tourist activity
It is important to distinguish the digital accessibility of the website, addressed in the previous sections, from the physical accessibility of the activity booked through it. The guided electric bicycle tours organized by Ebike Experiences Lanzarote take place on volcanic terrain, at times uneven, with sections of variable elevation depending on the itinerary, and require the ability to ride an electric bicycle independently. By its very nature, this is not an activity that is fully accessible to people with certain physical disabilities or reduced mobility that prevent them from riding a bicycle safely.
Ebike Experiences Lanzarote encourages anyone with specific accessibility or mobility needs who is interested in taking part in one of our tours to contact us before booking, via info@ebiketourlanzarote.com or by telephone at +34 686 700 302, so that we can jointly assess, depending on the itinerary and the specific circumstances, what reasonable accommodations might be possible.
6. How to contact us
Anyone may notify Ebike Experiences Lanzarote, under the terms of article 10.2.a) of Real Decreto 1112/2018 (used here as a reference for best practice), of any of the following matters relating to the accessibility of the website:
Report any possible failure to comply with accessibility requirements.
Report any difficulty accessing the content of the website.
Submit any query or suggestion for improvement relating to the digital accessibility of the website.
Such communications may be sent through:
Email: info@ebiketourlanzarote.com
Telephone: +34 686 700 302, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday
The contact form available on the website itself
Please indicate, in as much detail as possible, the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the device or browser used, so that the issue can be identified and corrected more quickly.
7. Procedure and response time
Ebike Experiences Lanzarote undertakes to acknowledge receipt of and assess any communication received in accordance with the previous section, and to respond to the person concerned within a maximum period of 15 business days of its receipt, informing them of the measures adopted or, where applicable, the reasons why it is not possible to address their request.
8. Review of this statement
This accessibility statement will be reviewed periodically and whenever significant changes are made to the website. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, indicating the date of its last update.
